Nano Zist Polymer Pars Company started its operations in 2017 as a startup called Nano Cellophane. The company operates in the field of wound treatment and skin care products, relying on the production of bacterial cellulose nanofibers. In December 2017, the Special Task Force for the Development of Nanotechnology published a call for proposals entitled “Making wound dressings based on nanofibers for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers.” The Nano Cellophane startup won first place among the 98 projects participating in this call, and at the same time, the Shezan Accelerator (currently the Hamava Innovation Factory Complex) agreed to select the team as an investor to enter its acceleration period. After completing the acceleration period, the Nano Cellophane startup changed its name to Panotech and established Nano Zist Polymer Pars Company in December 2018.
In 2018, the company was able to obtain a certificate of approval from the Product Evaluation Unit of the Nanotechnology Development Headquarters, and in 2019, it became a knowledge-based company with the approval of the Knowledge-Based Companies Evaluation Working Group of the Presidential Vice-President for Science and Technology. In 2019, the Alborz Persian Drug Fund invested in the team as the next investor. In the same year, the company became a member of the Pardis Technology Park companies due to its location in the Azadi Innovation Factory. In 2019, due to the company’s need to have an independent office and separate laboratory workspace as part of the research and development process, the company succeeded in becoming a member of the Growth Center of Al-Zahra University so that it could provide its own laboratory space in addition to having an office. The location of the growth center space in one of the best locations in the Tehran metropolis has provided the company with excellent access for strong networking.
Nano Zist Polymer Pars Company has a history of participating in several nanotechnology festivals in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2024. In addition, it has also participated in the Innotex and Rabe Rashidi exhibitions.
