New generation of bacterial cellulose nanocomposites
With the best quality and the largest production in the world
the 12th international nanotechnology festival was held this year from october 8 to 11 at the persian gulf hall of the tehran international exhibition. nano zist polymer pars company also participated in the nanotechnology innovative and technological challenges (ichallenge) booth for the second time. on the final day of the exhibition, during a ceremony, dr. sarkar, secretary of the special task force for nanotechnology development, honored mr. nik kami, ceo of nano biopolymer pars company, for winning first place in the challenge to manufacture nanofiber-based wound dressings for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. the panotech team (nano zist polymer pars company) was among 98 teams and technology companies participating in the innovation challenge “design and manufacture of nanofiber-based wound dressings with the ability to repair diabetic wounds.” this team’s design for manufacturing bacterial cellulose nanofiber dressings was ultimately selected among the 5 final designs to enter the second stage of the challenge and manufacture a prototype of the product.

with the support of ichallenge, the panotech team entered the animal testing phase of its product after receiving initial technical and functional approval in the challenge. during these tests, the panotech sample was compared with commercial products on the market and successfully passed this phase by providing excellent performance in healing diabetic wounds.
the panotech team members, who had previously participated in this challenge as the nanocellup startup, are now continuing their activities under the panotech brand, maintaining the team structure, as nano zist polymer pars company.
